Las témporas..

Asturias es una tierra de muchos climas, cada uno de sus valles posee un microclima que por su vegetación y húmedad lo hace único, diferente al resto.
Es por ello que en muchos lugares, en núcleos rurales alejados, aún es posible encontrar a personas que recibieron por tradición oral de sus abuelos el conocimiento de "las temporas", éstas personas son capaces de predecir el tiempo atmosférico en su valle, en su entorno cercano con solo ver el amanecer o el atardecer y conocer una multitud de pequeños detalles basados normalmente en el comportamiento de los animales que los rodean, viven en y con la Naturaleza y poseen unos conocimientos que las personas de "estos tiempos modernos" desconocemos, tal vez porque nuestros mayores no tienen ya la misma importancia para nosotros que la que tienen en el mundo rural, allí aún atesoran conocimientos y los transmiten, son escuchados.

Recuerdo hace muchos años que estando en una majada de Picos de Europa, "La Rondiella", acompañé a un conocido Pastor durante varios días, al atardecer de uno de ellos, se quedó en silencio apoyado en su larga vara escrutando el horizonte, al poco tiempo, me dijo, Mañana va a nevar, Cómo puede ser eso - le respondí - estamos en verano, en Agosto.. Mira el cielo como está, no es normal, además la niebla está rozando aquellos árboles y las vacas han bajado solas hasta aquí, cuando normalmente se quedan en aquel prado de allá arriba a pasar la noche. Yo me callé sin saber que contestar, parecía estar seguro de lo que decia.

Al día siguiente granizó con fuerza y todo quedó blanco en unos minutos.

Hay personas que hablan otros idiomas, los idiomas de la Naturaleza, que tal vez algún dia supimos y que que evidentemente hemos olvidado hace ya mucho tiempo, quedan ya pocas, personas que lo interpretan, deberíamos de escucharles..
